"AIRU!!!" Kitsune's voice roared through out the house. "Give me back my forehead procter!!!" A little boy at the age of four let out a laugh as he raced down a

hallway. He had very spiky blonde hair with bits of light blue, and deep blue eyes, wearing an orange baggy t-shirt, and black shorts. He had Kitsune's forehead procter tied around his forehead, though it was obvious it was too big for him, due to it nearly covered his eyes.

"Woot! I's a ninja!" He cheered playfully as he contunied to run.

"No you're not, you runt!" Kitsune sneered as she run after her younger bother. She was in the middle of getting ready to go train with her new team, when Airu snuck into her room, and took her forehead procter. He's done this ever since Kitsune became a ninja, and was begining to really tick her off big time. "Give it back to me

NOW!"

"Nevers!" Airu yelled back with a impish grin, running into the living room.

"AUGH! You little runt! Give it back! DADDY! MAKE HIM GIVE IT BACK!" Kitsune cried out in final desperation.

"Airu! Give it back!" Naruto called from the kitchen, still half-asleep and not knowing what exactly was going on. If it would shut them up...

"Nuh-uh!" Airu cackled, and skidded around the corner, into the living room. Oh man... woops. He had run himself into a dead end. He turned to find a glaring Kitsune

towering over him, and he meeped. "I is... sorry?" he tried, but still not removing the headband.

"Give. It. Back. Now!" Kitsune growled, cracking her knuckles.

"You's not mommy or daddy! So you's not my boss!" Airu grinned sticking his tounge out.

"But I'm a ninja, and that's my forehead protector..." she snarled, chakra flaring in her fists.

"DADDY! Kitsune is abouts to attacks me!" Airu whined.

Naruto groaned. "No fighting in the house!"

"But Daa~aad..." Kitsune moaned. "I need to go to my training! I can't be late on my first day!"

"I suppose so..." he murmured, then spun to face a defiant Airu. "Airu, give her that headband or I, as hokage, will make sure you never become a ninja." It was a painfully obvious bluff, but Airu quailed and hastily handed Kitsune over the forehead protector.

Kitsune snacthed it away from him."Little runt..." she muttered.

"Crazy Foxy Girl!" Airu countered running around Kitsune, and into the kitchen to aviod his sister's wrath.

Naruto chuckled, and helped Kitsune put her forehead protector around her waist. "I remember my first day as a ninja... I was excited because I felt like I could finally prove

myself. Plus we got cool weapons." He ruffled her shockingly orange bangs, and smiled. "Have fun!"

"Bye dad! Bye runt!" Kitsune called as she run out the door.

"Nyaaahhh!!!!" Airu stuck his tounge out at her.

"Nyeehhhh!!!" Kitsune countered sticking her own tounge out before leaving.

Kitsune raced onward, hopping she wasn't going to be late on her first day. She however, had to skid to a stop when Biri, and the Twins blocked her path, running passed her. "Meh!?"

"Our Sensei... is making us... do 500 laps..." Biri said in between light pants as she ran by.

Kitsune frowned. She hoped Shikamaru-sensei wasn't so harsh... He may be a lazy ass, but he may not have any qualms against making his students till they dropped.

She nodded sympathetically at them, then continued her dash to the meeting place. Her pace doubled when she heard their sensei Lee call out, "If you can't do 500 laps then do 1,000!"

"Hey Kitsune!"

"Nani?" Kitsune blinked and looked up ahead seeing Hari

"Bye mom!" Hari called to Shika as she ran off toward her freind.

Shika smiled and waved, "Bye hun!" behind her was Shi who was covering his nose with his hands. It seemed that he didn't want to have his nose 'taken' from him again.

Kikki and Sei were there as well, and Kiki had whacked Sei upside the head with a growl.

"Stop trying to grab my ass!" She snarled at Sei.

Sei smiled sheepishly, and hid behind his oblivious sensei, who was still gazing hazy-eyed as her grown-up daughter started her adventure to become a murdering, emotionless ninja. They grew up so fast.

"Ready for our first day of training?" Hari asked excitedly, flexing her claws of a form she'd been practicing all night, half-tasmanian devil. Her features were sharpened, her eyes piercing and eager, her form rippling with lean, sinewy muscle. The tasmanian devil was a prized form among old beast chakra users - it was almost impossible to find any information on the Australian animal. "Karen said she'd be a bit late."

"Well with a lazy ass for a dad who wouldn't be late!" Kitsune snickered.

Hari smiled and was about to reply but was cut short when Akamaru pounced on her,"Haha heeey Akamaru!" she laughed, ruffling his fur as the massive dog proceeded to lick her face. "I guess Kiba's team will be here soo-"

"HEY GUYS!" Mayumi called from over the hill, giving a friendly wave. Hari's breath caught in her throat as Nekko followed, slouched and indifferent to everything, his ears flat against his head. Katan glared at everyone as he followed, and ran a tired hand through unruly red hair.

"Geez, guess we were assigned to share a meeting place with Team Bitches," he sighed, eyeing the all-girls team.

"Katan... shut the fuck up..." Nekko said, nearly snarling at him.

"Yeah just shove it, bastard!" Kitsune yelled, clecthing her fist. She never liked him even when they were kids, because he would always pick on Biri and Hari for being different. Sure he would the same to her because of her whiskers, but she didn't care. Her freinds were more important to her.

Hari beamed at Nekko told Katan off.'That's my boy! ... Oh wait. No! Not my boy!' She blushed madly at her won thoughts, and got herself out from under Akamaru.

"Where's Shikamaru-sensei and Karen...?" she wondered outloud. "They shouldn't be this late!"

"We're here!!!" Karen yelled, whacking Katan upside the head as she ran by him and toward her team.

Hari beamed at her teammate, and sent a resentful glare at Katan. He was clutching the side of his head, his teeth gritted. "Stupid ho!" he snarled.

"Hey, that's no way to talk to a lady!" Kiba scolded, finally arriving. "Believe me, you'll regret it when you're girl-crazy later and no one wants to even look at you."

"Good! I don't WANT em to look at me!"

Kiba just rolled his eyes. "Hey Shika! I arranged to have our teams have the same meeting place so we could train together, what do you think?"

Shika was in the middle of holding Kiki back, who was trying to stranggle Sei for trying to grab her ass again. "Ehh cool Kiba..." She said giving him a sarcastic thumps up, pulling Kiki away from Sei.

"Awesome! This is great, because to be truthful I had nothing planned. Unless having them walk Akamaru counts..." His sentence trailed off, and he snapped back. "I think we should start with a trust exercise, some of them seem to hate each other a little too much to be comrades."

The young genins sweat-dropped, "...Trust exercise...?"

"Hey, that's a great idea!" Shika chirped, and eyed the teams. "Kitsune with Katan, Karen with Mayumi, which leaves Nekko with Hari. I tried to choose your teams based on how much you like or know each other! Sound good, Kiba?"

"Huh? Oh! Yeah, great job!" He had no idea what was going on.

Kitsune frowned, "Why do we have to be stuck with the dick-head!?" she yelled pointing at Katan.

Shika laughed lightly as her goddaughter pouted. "Yeah, seems so. Just tolerate each other enough to not kill yourselves, okay?"

Hari mentally gulped and took her place at Nekko's side, and everyone else paired off. "Alright," Shikamaru announced, and everyone looked at him in surprise. He wasn't one to take charge. "We'll start with the basics - fall back and let your partner catch you."

I rather let Katan fall face-first into the ground..." Kitsune muttered.

Shikamaru shot her a glare. "If you do, you fail this training objective. Alright, we'll start with the larger person catching the smaller one. Everyone ready?"

"Yeah, yeah sure..." Kitsune said glaring at Katan. A part of her was hoping that he wouldn't cacth her. Being touch by this guy is the last thing she wanted.

"Okay, fall!" Shikamaru ordered, leaning against a particularly wide tree. Mayumi screeched, for a few split seconds sure she would connect with the ground, but Karen's arms caught her just in time. She smiled warmly at the red and blacked-haired girl, seeming thankful that Karen had just done what she was told.

Hari clenched her eyes shut, and fell. Her stomach fluttered, but she felt no doubt she would find warm, strong arms at the end of her fall. Sure enough, the anticipated arms hooked under hers, and she relaxed in his gentle grip. "Er, Hari... you have to get up," he murmured in her ear, and she blinked in embarrassment, hastily getting to her feet.

Kitsune sighed and did as she was told, and fell as well. Katan stood there with arms crossed, looking as if he wasn't going to to cacth her at all. But as much as he rather be amused with seeing her hit the ground, he caught at the very last second. "You're heavier then you look, fox-freak."

Kitsune glared up at him. "Kutabare." She retorted, shoving him away.

Shika caught Shi with ease, (though it took him a few tries to actually gather the courage to fall) and Kiki fell grudgingly into Sei's eager arms.

"Aw come on. You know you liked it." he grinned

"Alright, glad to see no one's gotten a concussion yet," Shikamaru congratulated dully. "Switch places and repeat, although if you're not strong enough to catch the heavier person... er... figure something out."

Karen rolled her eyes at her father's uselessness, and positioned herself to be caught Mayumi. Their team wasn't really a problem, they were both the same size, Mayumi had just opted to go first. Hari shifted to a half-bear, staying the same size but becoming slightly stronger, and Kitsune just hoped Katan wasn't as heavy as he looked.

"Sei let go of me already!" Kiki snarled elbowing him in the gut. Sei winced, letting her go.

"Okay, fall," Shikamaru repeated, watching with interest to see how the smaller of the groups would handle it. Mayumi caught Karen just as easily as Karen had, and the two shared a smile of triumph. Hari grunted quietly as Nekko's dead weight fell into her arms, but she held his surprisingly warm figure steady.

Kitsune let out a grunt as she just barely caught Katan, Jeez and you said I was heavier then I looked? You're the one that needs to cut back on the food!"

Katan glared at her venomously, and dusted where his ass had just brushed the ground. "It wouldn't be a problem if you weren't so weak!"

Kitsune glared right back. "Ha! I could kick your ass anytime, jerk!"

Katan brushed her off, suddenly occupied, gripping his axe tightly. "Goddamn, horns and her twin-pimps are here. Those 500 laps should have kept them occupied all day!"

"Hey man! Don't go brandishing that piece of metal at our Biri!" Mitsu growled, seriously insulted.

"Yeah, those horns make her cooler than you! What's that, a freakin tattoo under your eye? Tackyyyy..." Tynan drawled, unimpressed. Katan bristled.

"It's a mark of my clan! At least I have some pride for who I am," he sneered, gesturing at the already slumping Biri. She hated attracting attention and drawing the twins into this.

"Katan back off!" Kitsune warned, her fists clenched in fury of seeing her friend hurt. <rosychan>"Hey hey hey!" Kiba barked. "I know not everyone gets along but at least act like you're comrades eh?"

Kitsune nodded and Katan one last glare. "Just leave Biri alone. She's done nothing to derseve any of your bullshit."

Kiba flinched once more at the blatant language, then sighed. "All right, we can all trust each other to an extent, now let's move onto the real meat." He suddenly blanked, realizing he had nothing, and looked hopefully to Shika.

Shika blinked a few times, then realized everyone was staring at her. "We could... err... ask Shikamaru sensei! He's always a good strategist!" She scratched her neck, hoping she didn't look too lame.

Lee's eyes lit up. "I say we put apples on one person's head, and see if they have the full trust in the comrade to nail it with a kunai!" he suggested. "How brave! How daring! How bond-strengthening!"

Everyone sweat-dropped. "Err mabye later Lee.." Shika said. "Lets try somthing alittle easier..." 'And with no chance of anyone losing thier heads.'

I got it!" Kiba cried, looking very pleased with himself. "I won't explain it yet, but Shika, I need you to change to something tiger or wolf like."

Shika cocked an eyebrow, and shifted to a large bengal tiger.

"Okay, the first group, Mayumi and Karen, you come with me. Kitsune and Katan can go with Shika. I'll lead you out into the forest to complete your task, and Shika will do

the same." He jogged over and whispered his idea in Shika's ear. Her lips curled into a toothy grin, and she lead the two out of sight, as did Kiba with Akamaru, Mayumi, and Karen.

Kitsune rolled her eyes, "Again with being stuck with the dick!?" She sighed and ran after Shika.

Karen and Mayumi each followed Kiba curiously, leaving the other team members to wonder curiously what the hell this task could be. "Do you think we have to fight

Akamaru or my mom?" Hari asked nervously, recognizing the large animals in each group.

Biri shurgged. "I don't know. But it's bound to be better then any of Lee-sensei's training." She said whispering the last part.

Everyone nodded in agreement. About 20 minutes later, Mayumi and Karen came out of the forest, beaming. "We did it!" Mayumi cheered. "That was sort of tricky... I didn't get it for ages."

Karen nodded silently, her eyes curved upwards in a smile. "Your turn, Kiki and Sei," she said, jerking a thumb towards Kiba and Akamaru. A few moments later, Kitsune and Katan also burst through the forest, Kitsune chasing Katan.

"Damnit Katan! You almost ruined the training for both of us!"

"Yeah, but I didn't, did I?" he snickered, just barely dodging her each time. "Shika-sensei said Biri and Mitsu are up!"

Biri nodded, then frowned. "Mitsu unless you want to find yourself falling for hours again, I suggest you remove your hand from my butt now."

Mitsu sighed, and trotted after Biri and Shika. They, too, disappeared into the forest. Tynan paired with Shi, who was partnerless now that Shika was busy, and Hari and

Nekko waited patiently. Hari barely resisted the urge to just look up at Nekko - no matter his expression, it was always something worth looking at.

Nekko noticed Hari's staring. "What?"

Hari snapped her attention back to the forest, just in time to see Mitsu and Biri come out. "Nothing. Well, umm... your hair is really... er... I mean, nevermind!" Her cheeks

flushed a deep red. His hair?? His was really what?? Get a grip! "Uh, okay, I think it's our turn," she stammered, pointing to the bengal tiger and running towards it. Nekko

followed, easiely cacthing up to Hari.

"Okay lovebirds," Shika snickered, slinking into the forest. "When we're out of sight, get on my back. Don't worry, I'm a big girl and can carry both your weights." Both ninjas hopped onto her back, and she began walking slowly. "You are not allowed to grab onto my fur or any part of me for balance. Objective - don't fall off me." With no warning, she began trotting. Both children clenched their legs tightly, but her fur was sleek, and they quickly began falling off.

"M-mom! Slow down!" Hari yelped, almost falling off, not wanting to disappoint Nekko.

"No can do darling!" In a final attempt, Hari accidentally latched onto Nekko, who was having equal problems staying on. With the new leverage, she reseated herself and held tight to his waist, and they used each other for counter-balance. "There we are! A little teamwork!" Shika sang. "Alright, heading back now, see if you can keep it up."

When they returned, it seemed that Katan was at it again. Kitsune was yelling at him, trying to swing a punch at him, but Kiba held her back. Biri was standing looking down, trying her best to ignore Katan's harsh words.

"Let me go, so I can beat him shitless!" Kitsune snarled, fighting against Kiba's hold. "Let me at him!"

Hari carefully dismounted, regretfully letting go of her deathgrip on Nekko's waist. "Uh, what's going on?" she asked Mitsu, waving a clawed hand in the direction of Kitsune and Katan.

"Katan was off talking shit again, and Kitsune had enough," he chuckled, and nudged Tynan. "Kiba-sensei should just let her at 'im, no discipline like having that crazy fox beat your ass!"

They both laughed in unison, and Hari smiled at the image. "They're totally in love," Nekko drawled, his soft voice dripping with sarcasm. "Can't wait to see their kids."

Everyone that was wacthing Kitsune tryingto get Katan, shuddered at the idea of those two having kids... Serial killer kids more like it...

"Just let me hit him dammit!" Kitsune yelled, her already short temper not getting better with Katan's smirked experssion.

Kiba's brow furrowed as he held the fox back, the brat was stronger than she looked...

"Oi, stop trying to prove something, you already have all the recognition you need," Katan growled. "Hokage's little princess already has everything she wants! Eat some fucking nails and get a real problem!"

Kitsune stiffened, and her eyes narrowed dangerously. "Shut up." Her bound hands clenched into fists, and she was suddenly easily able to rip out of Kiba's hold. "Shut

up!! You have no idea what you're talking about!" she snarled, and disappeared. A half-second later and a blur whipped past Katan, who was thrown onto the

ground. Kitsune came to a stand-still, her chest heaving, eyes glinting.

"What the hell are you?!" Katan cried, edging back. Kitsune answered him a single, deliberate punch. Her fist flew straight for his set jaw, pulsing with anger and foreign

energy. Her smile deepened as she felt the harsh crack of bone beneath her knuckles, and Katan silently took the blow, eyes wide with shock. It wasn't until a rivulet of blood crept down his chin that Kitsune wavered. The anger flushed from her eyes, and she looked at her own hand.

"What... did I... I don't remember..." She looked to Shika for help, Hari, anyone, her eyes wild with fear. Her voice was tiny, a frightened child. "Was that me?"

Shika's eyes wided in disbelif. 'That power...It was just like...' "You're more like your dad then I though possible..."

Kitsune looked up at her god-mother, with a confused and still fearstruck look. "What???"

Shika shook her head. "It's not my place to explain. But I think this signals the end of training." She straightened up, and nodded at the other senseis. "I'm glad training got as far as it did without a fight breaking out sooner, but I think it's time we split back into our teams." The other senseis nodded in agreement, eyeing Kitsune knowingly.

Kitsune closed her eyes to escape the sympathetic glances and took a deep breath.  Hopefully this was a dream, and she'd wake up in her bed. She fluttered her eyes open - and she was still a monster.
